Double nomination secures PervasID a place in the National SME Business Awards Ceremony finals


PervasID, developers of next-generation radio frequency identification (RFID)-based tag reading solutions with 99% plus accuracy, scooped two major awards at the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards Ceremony, which took place at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford on the 4thJuly. More than 100 finalists attended the ceremony.

The prestigious event, now in its third year, helps raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs across the region. A total of 20 awards were presented to businesses and individuals that have demonstrated success and made impressive contributions within their respective industry sectors. PervasID secured the Regus Best Enterprising Business and the Calver Wealth Management Business Innovation trophies. A judge from the latter category stated;“Greatresults from taking risks in a highly competitive technical world. Sustainable investment to innovate the business further.”

As a winner in both core categories, PervasIDautomatically qualifies to participate in the National SME Business Awards Ceremony Finals, being held at Wembley Stadium in December.

Born out of the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge, PervasID’s RAIN RFID tracking products are streamlining operations and automating inventory and asset management processes across a wide range of industries including industrial manufacturing, warehousing & logistics, aviation, retail and healthcare.

In 2018, PervasID secured £1.6million inseries Afunding from Parkwalk, Cambridge Innovation Capital and Martletto further acceleratedevelopment of its ground breaking technology and to expand its commercial presence Europe, NorthAmerica and Asia.
